The positioning member would be responsible for working under the Design Team and the Head of Brand Design to perform assigned tasks and projects in the most efficient manner. At times, projects and tasks will be assigned under the highest priority by the executive and/or operational unit. The general work for a member of this position would be to envision, produce, and administer quality graphic designs for our company, that are both original and match our design standards (given during the interview). These graphics will be shown throughout our brand, including our two websites (
Brandarrow and
brandSuite). At times, you may be selected to work on a commission project for our clients, which will be produced and used based on their needs. Regardless of which, the work primarily is based around: briefing and advising with regard to design style, format, print production; developing concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations; company logos and general brand artwork; determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size. Often, as with any rapidly-growing startup, our operational cycle changes. Due to this, the design team will use all resources and personnel to work alongside our Community Managers to produce content for our social media platforms. As this position is under a team rather than standalone, there may be update meetings every week or every other week (usually one per week/every other week). These meetings are done on our company’s communications platform and require a quiet working area along with a internet-enabled laptop/desktop (with a microphone and headphones/speakers). Apart from the general gist of producing graphics, as with all positions at Brandarrow, we require the uttermost respect and kindness for colleagues while in a working environment. This position does not have a set amount of hours of working, we just ask for tasks and projects to be completed by deadlines.
